Scott Cawston ADI was born in King’s Lynn and now lives in Fakenham, Norfolk. To say he knows the roads in Norfolk like the back of his hand would be an understatement (and often comes in handy when out with pupils)!

Scott changed careers in 2019 by training with another local driving school to become a fully qualified driving instructor.

If you join Let’s Drive on a driving instructor franchise you will be given:
Support
Scott is an experienced driving instructor and with the additional administration support of his partner Mel you will be assisted both with overcoming any teaching challenges but also with some administrative and marketing support to ensure that your franchise runs smoothly.

Knowledge
Over the last six years, Scott has experienced many different students and scenarios in his teaching. As a franchisee at Let’s Drive you would be able to tap into that knowledge if you found yourself in a challenging situation or needed to talk a pupil’s development through.

Expertise
As with all jobs, expertise comes with experience. Scott is a very experienced driving instructor and keeps up his continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure that he adopts the latest techniques and DVSA guidance in his teaching.
How much does a driving instructor franchise with Let’s Drive cost?

A full time driving instructor franchise at Let’s Drive will cost you £250 a month. If you join on a part time basis your fee will be prorated to reflect this.
​
Be your own boss! You can work the hours that suit you on a self-employed basis and will be responsible for your own tax, national insurance, professional insurances, and continuing professional development (CPD).

Pupils!
We will manage enquiries that come directly to Let’s Drive and add them to your diary (where you show availability).

Mentoring
As an experienced driving school, we have the knowledge and expertise to support you if you face any challenges in your business, or with your teaching.
​
Uniform and business cards
You will be provided with Let’s Drive branded polo tops, fleeces and business cards as part of a set-up fee.
​
Brand reputation
You will be allowed to use the well-established and recognised Let’s Drive branding on your own vehicle, and in your marketing.
​
Flexibility
There is no tie-in with a Let’s Drive driving instructor franchise, you are free to leave when you wish (after providing the agreed notice). We do not charge an exit fee. We will also allow you up to four franchise fee-free weeks a year for holidays.
